Within the limits of work with senior pupils of schools of a city personnel service UEIP had been conducted interrogation of pupils of the eleventh classes for the purpose of studying of life[ru] values and priorities of young generation. 80 children have participated in questioning at the age of 16-17 years. We bring to your attention the most interesting of the received results
Interrogation has shown, that for senior pupils the most attractive sphere of professional work is the economy, the finance and management. Such position is caused by modern conditions of a labour market, a considerable quantity of offers from educational[ru] institutions on preparation of experts of an economic profile.
On the second place on appeal degree there is a sphere of advertising, art and show business. This direction was extended last 3-5 years. It "is actively untwisted" by show business, advertising and mass-media not only in our country[ru], but also all over the world[ru]. As acknowledgement that is served numerous by "Factories of stars», increase in a share of film production, advertising, teleserials etc.
The third line in a rating is taken by service sphere. Growth of appeal of this sphere is caused by a great demand from employers, it just that case when «demand gives rise to the offer».
The pedagogics and psychology already throughout 10 years continue to remain in the five of leaders on appeal to young generation. Interest to psychological knowledge and universality of formation allow experts to find with the diploma of the teacher-psychologist application of the abilities in different branches: from formation to sphere of management of staff, business, advertising, public relation etc.
With a small difference on 5 and 6 items on appeal there is a medicine and trade. Undoubtedly, these spheres differ higher offers on a payment in commercial area.
7 and 8 places take information technologies and transport. These directions of activity differ high requests to the experts, workers of these branches were always characterised by special type of the thinking, specific psychological features - stressful stability, readiness to work it is more with engineering, than with people, high trained ability, mobility etc.
On 9 items on appeal to graduates of schools there is an engineering and production sphere, on 10 place - building. Certainly, these spheres use preference at young men, and as shows the work market analysis, demand for experts of these areas high enough and constant.
Last item in our rating is taken by army and militia. Alas, these lines of business are least attractive to graduates of schools. The maximum realisation of the abilities, possibilities, career and material growth is necessary for young generation. Unfortunately, in power structures these requirements are realised not always.
Among educational institutions the leader of preferences at senior pupils became UGTU-UPI. On the second place there is a Novouralsk State polytechnical institute Gorky, closes a three of leaders branch of the Ural university of Bitter in the city of Novouralsk.
Interesting there were data about what waited by pupils from the future trade.
For 68 % of senior pupils on the first place there was a material welfare, and it is the valid reality of a modern life.
Self-realisation takes of the second item (60 %). It is obvious, that the modern young generation is focused on maximum use of the possibilities and abilities.
On the third place at senior pupils - career (53 %). The given indicators practically coincide with all-Russian - in large megacities the motivation on career growth at senior pupils is included into a three of priorities.
4 item is taken by dialogue with interesting people. The specificity of youthful age expressed in high requirement for dialogue, this value have allocated in the future professional work of 50 % of pupils.
On 5 place there is a motive of calmness and stability (49 %).
«The knowledge new - positive enough factor, takes 6 item (40 %). It indicates readiness of youth for training, acquisition of new knowledge and abilities.
Last item was taken «prestige in the eyes[ru] of others», it is important for 30 % of questioned senior pupils. This percent a little bit more low, than in large cities, there this value mark more than 65 % of senior pupils.
Apparently, despite powerful attack of advertising and TV, is pleasant to notice, that our graduates prefer specialities of a technical profile.
