The micromanometer is designed for absolute pressure measurement of uranium hexaftoride, volatile fluorine compounds as well as of other gases and vapours, chemically inert to БрБ 2 beryllium bronze and ЛС 59-1 brass, the reference space being evacuated.

The micromanometer may be used for inert gases differential pressure measurement under up to 0,15 MPa absolute pressure.
The ambient temperature and that of the flow to be measured should be within the range of +10 to +35 °C
