Production UEIP
Designed for the nuclides’ alpha activity measurement.
Field of application: physical investigations, environment monitoring, medicine, biology.
On a photo: alpha radiation radio metre
The radiometer has module construction and comprises a sensor unit, a counter unit and a digital printer.
The radiometer permits to count the alpha-rays impulses from the samples registered by sensor unit during the exposure time, chosen by the operator, simultaneously in four identical channels. The radiometer takes either defined (1,2,4) or the infinite number of measurements.
Counter unit and digital printer display the following information:
exposure time, seconds
measurement number in cyclic mode
channel number
recorded number of impulses in every channel.
The radiometer is operated from the counter unit front panel keyboard. The sample is put into the sample holder made in the form of a draw-out table. A scintillation detector acts as a transducer in every channel. Built-in digital voltmeter controls high voltage in every channel.
"OPTEX" type digital printer is used for digital data printout.
